Video games never really get a chance when it comes to popular media. New show, Life, manages to incorporate a plethora of stereotypes and inaccuracies in just under three minutes. Ignorance of technologies: check. Gamer stereotypes: check. Picking a game loosely based on the antagonists ethnicity: check. Phantom controllers: check. Girl gamer shows up male gamer: check. Obligatory game montage with vaguely connected music: check. "You win!" text: check. Beating the game unlocks Excel documents on the Xbox: ch... wait, what? You got to be kidding me!
